4th Workshop in Behavioral and Experimental Health Economics

We are pleased to host the 4th Workshop in Behavioral and Experimental Health Economics in Cologne. The previous successful workshops took place in Oslo, Hamilton, and Essen.

The workshop brings together economists who apply behavioral economics and experimental methods in health economics research to present and discuss their research papers. The workshop is an activity of the research network Behavioral Experiments in Health.

We welcome contributions on all topics within health economics applying experimental methods, be it laboratory or field studies, and behavioral economics modeling. Topics in this year’s workshop focus on provider incentives, patient behavior, and risk preferences in health (Special CEAR Session on Risk organized by Glenn Harrison).

For each paper, we allocate one hour (40 minutes presentation, 10 minutes discussion by discussant, and 10 minutes general discussion) to provide participants with the opportunity for an in-depth presentation of their work.
